About Lutetium Oxide
The main production method is oxalate precipitation: using lutetium chloride or nitrate solution as raw material, adjusting pH to 2 with oxalic acid, precipitating lutetium oxalate by adding ammonia water. After heating and aging, separation and washing, drying at 110°C, then calcining at 900-1000°C to obtain lutetium oxide.
